MODULAR FARMING
In our globalized economy, international agricultural products are made easily available everywhere and are now expected amongst consumers with spending power and desires for choice in their diet. These products, unsurprisingly, costs more to import and incur more environmental costs (e.g. carbon footprint in transportation) throughout its supply chain. Yet some fruits and vegetables are not suitable to the local climate. This project aims to develop a turn-key environment-controlled solution for the modern agriculture industry, powered by solar energy. We have commenced our research into the development of a wifi-enabled, sensor control system.
